Keyrus North America (NORAM) is seeking a full-time Solution Architect (Data & Analytics Architecture) with strong experience in modern cloud data platforms, analytics architecture, and data engineering ecosystems. This role combines architectural oversight, multi-project delivery and leadership, practice governance, and strategic contributions to our NORAM go-to-market priorities.
📍Location: Montreal or Toronto (hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote)

Collaborate with clients to understand business goals, technical requirements, and analytics needs, translating them into scalable and effective data architecture solutions.
Lead the design and oversight of end-to-end data and analytics solutions, including data pipelines, data lakes, cloud data warehouses, orchestration workflows, and analytics enablement architectures.
Define architectural patterns, reusable frameworks, and best practices across modern data platforms and technologies such as Amazon Redshift, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, Python, Tableau, Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and other cloud data services.
Provide architectural governance across multiple engagements to ensure consistency, scalability, quality, and alignment with best practices, while proactively managing risks and delivery complexity.
Partner closely with data engineering, analytics, and visualization teams to ensure strong alignment between backend data architecture and front-end reporting and BI needs, especially within Tableau-centric environments.
Contribute to technical pre-sales, solution shaping, and proposal development by defining strong architectural approaches aligned to client business outcomes.
Support practice growth by helping define standards, accelerators, and differentiated offerings in data engineering and analytics architecture.
Collaborate closely with partners to align solutions, stay ahead of platform evolution, and build differentiated offerings for our clients.
Guide and mentor consultants and engineers by providing technical leadership, architectural direction, and support throughout project delivery.
Enable the use and adoption of AI and intelligent automation capabilities where relevant within modern data platforms and workflows.
What We’re Looking For (required qualifications and experience)
Our ideal candidate brings a balance of technical skills, curiosity, and a consultative mindset:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data architecture, including 5+ years in a senior consultant, architect, principal, or technical leadership role, ideally within a consulting environment
Hands-on expertise designing and optimizing modern data and analytics architectures, including data pipelines, data lakes, cloud data warehouses, and analytics-ready data layers
Strong experience working across modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Amazon Redshift, Azure Data Services, or similar analytics ecosystems
Experience designing and governing enterprise-scale data warehouse, data lake, and hybrid analytics architectures, with the ability to guide clients toward the right approach based on business and technical needs
Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, orchestration, workflow automation, and data integration best practices
Practical experience with AWS-based data engineering and orchestration services such as Amazon Redshift, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, S3-based data lakes, and Python-based pipelines, supporting modern analytics and reporting environments
Experience overseeing multiple concurrent project teams while driving delivery excellence and margin accountability
Experience in client-facing roles, with involvement in pre-sales, proposals, and strategic technical discussions
Strong leadership with excellent communication skills, able to influence senior stakeholders and lead strategic technical conversations
Experience managing and mentoring consultants, architects, or data engineers, ensuring high-quality delivery and continuous skill development
Desirable Requirements:
AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft, or other relevant cloud/data platform certifications
Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native deployment patterns
Experience with real-time or event-driven data integration patterns
Exposure to AI/ML-enabled data workflows or analytics modernization initiatives
